A North Carolina highschool capturing left one pupil lifeless Monday after he was shot by a fellow pupil at Butler Excessive College in Matthews, southeast of Charlotte, police say.

The coed was shot by a fellow pupil throughout a combat in a crowded faculty hallway Monday and died at a hospital, officers mentioned.

Police say the suspect is in custody. College students remained inside with the varsity on lockdown for about two hours after the capturing.
