BEIRUT (Reuters) – Lebanese investigators questioned Carlos Ghosn on Thursday beneath the supervision of the prosecutor in Beirut, a judicial supply stated, after he was summoned over an Interpol warrant issued by Japan searching for his arrest on monetary misconduct expenses.

Ghosn, 65, fled Japan to Lebanon, his childhood dwelling, final month as he was awaiting trial on expenses of under-reporting earnings, breach of belief and misappropriation of firm funds, all of which he denies.

Ghosn’s lawyer in Lebanon couldn’t instantly be reached for touch upon Thursday. Ghosn was being questioned on the Justice Palace in Beirut.
